Social Media Marketing Intern (Chinese)

  • Social Media Intern will be part of Chinese tourism marketing team for clients such as Art Institute of Chicago and a couple of upscale shopping malls in California.
  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Generate, edit, publish and share routine content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages interactions
  • Moderate all user-generated content
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
  • Qualifications: must be familiar with Chinese social media channels such as Weibo, Wechat or are willing to learn quickly. Good content development and writing skills preferred. Native Chinese speaker required. A good candidate should also has positive attitude, is detail and customer oriented, works well within a team and has good multitasking and organizational skills. The intern will be reporting to social media coordinator.

  • Generate, edit, publish and share routine content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages interactions
  • Moderate all user-generated content

Office Intern

Here at Chicago CCI we are always looking for new people to join our team. We offer internships for current college students and recent graduates. Responsibilities may vary by applicant, but can include marketing, social media administration, translation, and liaison work for companies. Knowledge of Chinese language is preferred, but not required. Our ideal applicant has strong writing and interpersonal skills, and has a personal or academic interest in Chinese culture and language.

Tour Guide 

Are you interested in Chinese culture and Chinese American history? Are you willing to share your knowledge of China, Chinese culture to others who visit Chicago’s Chinatown? Chinatown tour guiding offers short and flexible hours, great pay, fun, and the ability to work independently! This is a great job for students, and anyone who is interested in a fun, educational part-time job. Come join us. You bring the talent; we’ll provide the training.

Qualification requirement:

  • Native English speaking or equivalent.
  • Love meeting and entertaining new people, outgoing, friendly, responsible, and reliable.
  • Knowledge of Chinese culture preferred, but not required.
  • Strong presentation skills in front of large groups and ability to memorize narration preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions desired.
